Commercial & Agricultural Property Paralegal
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will actively support our commercial & agricultural property solicitors by conducting research, preparing legal documents, and managing case files.
With a diverse caseload, this role involves work including, but not limited to; commercial leases, finance, purchases, sales, grants, registrations, transfers, deed of variation, option agreements, titles, agreements, notices, self builds, shareholder arrangements, reviews, deeds, appointment of trustees and much more. It is an excellent opportunity to learn from vastly experienced commercial lawyers with an attractive client base.
This role requires excellent organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues alike. The successful applicant will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our legal services.
Duties:
Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to assist in case preparation.
Draft, review, and proofread legal documents, including contracts.
Maintain and organise case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Communicate with clients to provide updates on case progress and gather necessary information.
Assist solicitors in trial preparation by compiling evidence and preparing exhibits.
Utilise software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for document management and communication.
Manage time effectively to meet deadlines while prioritising tasks efficiently.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a commercial Paralegal or in a similar role within a legal environment is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential.
Strong command of English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with IT systems used in legal practices is advantageous.
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong time management skills to ensure deadlines are consistently met.

Conveyancing Assistant
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join our thriving Residential Conveyancing Department. We have both full-time and part-time opportunities available.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to become an integral part of a supportive and professional team. The successful candidate will work directly alongside our Conveyancing Executives to assist with their busy caseloads.
As a Conveyancing Assistant, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Supporting the conveyancing team with sales and purchases from instruction to completion
Preparing quotes, client care packs, and opening new files
Carrying out AML checks and entering data accurately into our case management system
Obtaining title documents, issuing contracts, and requesting leasehold packs
Liaising with estate agents, housing associations, lenders, and clients
Managing communications via email, letter, and telephone professionally
Drafting transfer deeds, completion statements, bills, and requisitions as required
Preparing for exchange and completion
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and client information
Monitoring deadlines and ensuring progress of files in a timely and efficient manner
Providing cover for the fee earner’s email inbox when needed
Handling post-completion tasks and file closures
Ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering regulations and firm procedures
Supporting general administrative functions for the department
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role within a CQS-accredited conveyancing firm
Proficiency with CMS, Microsoft Word, and Outlook
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent client care and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High attention to detail and accuracy, especially with figures and legal documents
Ability to manage multiple and conflicting deadlines effectively
A friendly, professional, and proactive approach
